Aping Angela...

My friend, Angela, challenged me to do this last week, I’m not going to challenge anyone but feel free to follow(and make sure you link back to me because I am a whore):

1. What was the first comic you remember reading?

I remember watching the first G.I. Joe mini series on TV. During that there were commercials for the G.I. Joe comic book. I was obsessed with the Joes and begged my Mom to pick me up the first issue she saw. This was that issue. I don’t remember what the story was or anything about the book at all. But it had G.I Joe and Cobra fighting and that’s all that mattered to me then.

2. What was the first comic that made you realize that you might be in this for the long haul?

Kind of an easy one for me. Kingdom Come is my favorite comic book story. Ever. I love it so much that I’ve adorned my body with art from it. I’ve probably read it 300 times and each time I walk away with something new. I have very little doubt it will be the last comic book I ever read in reality, so in fantasy that’s definitely my pick.
